Linus Jaeggi completed his studies at the University of Zurich (lic. iur.). He is admitted to the bar in Switzerland (registered in the Canton of Zurich). He began his professional career as an auditor at the Zurich Public Prosecutor’s Office and as a clerk at the District Court of Zurich. As an attorney, Linus Jaeggi worked at a midsize law firm in Zurich until 1994. He is one of the founders of Schoch Jaeggi Hoch, which emerged from a merger of the law firm of Jannes Schoch and the firm Jaeggi & Hoch, founded by Patrick Hoch and Linus Jaeggi in 1994.
